Enjoy a great day out in Barú–Cartagena! 

In just 60 minutes, you will arrive at the Isla del Encanto Hotel, in Corales del Rosario Park. Travel and enjoy a day at the beach as you deserve! Our Day tour Includes:

  • Pick up at hotels located in the Bocagrande sector, Historic Center and North Zone to the Bodeguita pier. 
  • Transportation to and from the island, in speedboats or bus (depends on the number of people). 
  • Bilingual staff accompanying. 
  • Buffet lunch served with options of fish, chicken and meat, accompanied by a variety of salads, hot or cold vegetables, coconut or white rice, patacones or pasta, a portion of fruit, a typical sweet from the region and a non-alcoholic drink. 
  • Use of public areas (chairs, lounge chairs, sunbathing, daytour pool and daytour beach). There are other areas restricted to hikers on the day tour. 

Our Daytour does not include

  • Dock tax (parks) of $23,000 per person. Subject to change by Corpoturismo.
  • Any other service not indicated.
  • Does not include welcome cocktail or towels, these services are available with an additional value. 

Departure & Schedules

Remember: You must be punctual at the Bodeguita Pier at 8:30 am to coordinate your departure. At 09:00 am we leave. 

  • By boat: more than 20 people departure in speedboats 
  • By bus : less than 20 people departure by land to the small town of Barú and then 5 minutes by speedboat to the island. 

At any time the hotel may change the transport logistics, when weather or security conditions so require. 


Unique day tour departure schedules:

  • Appointment time at La Bodeguita Pier: 08:00 AM – 8:15 AM (Important to be one hour before departure). 
  • Departure time from Cartagena to the Isla del Encanto hotel:  09:00 AM– 09:10 AM 
  • Departure time from the Isla del Encanto hotel to Cartagena:  03:00 PM– 03:30 PM

  • Pets must go in their travel bag, they will pay a value of $60,000, and must be reported before traveling. 
  • The entry of drinks or food into the hotel is not allowed.

  • Our travelers are recommended to take care of their belongings, the hotel is not responsible for loss or forgetfulness. 
  • Punctuality is recommended to our passengers. 
  • We are not responsible for climatic or social conditions beyond the control of the hotel.

  • Full prepayment or credit card as a guarantee. 
  • No Show Charge: confirmed reservations that do not show up at the hotel or are canceled less than 72 hours before the passenger's arrival, will be subject to a charge of 100% of the value of the day pass.
